From May 25th to June 1st, YGL accompanied Southwest University of Science and Technology (SWUST) on visits to universities in Europe. The delegation was led by Su Weizhou, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of SWUST, with relevant personnel from the School of Computer Science and Technology, the Planning and Finance Office, and the International Cooperation and Exchange Office participating in the visit.
During the exchange visit in Greece, the delegation visited two institutions of higher education in the country.

At the University of Ioannina, the two sides held multiple rounds of consultations on joint training programs for exchange students and scientific research cooperation mechanisms in fields such as computer and information technology, economic management, and mathematics and physics.
During the visit to the University of Patras, the two parties focused on discussing scientific research cooperation in advanced materials, computer science, biology, management science and engineering, and conducted in-depth exchanges with the University of Patras on the academic programs and cooperation models for overseas educational programs.

During the visit, the delegation actively promoted the “Study in SWUST” program, with a focus on postgraduate and doctoral education for international students, and invited outstanding foreign scholars to visit and cooperate with SWUST. This visit has effectively promoted in-depth cooperation between SWUST and friendly European universities in various fields such as talent training, scientific research cooperation, faculty exchanges, and joint construction of educational platforms, injecting momentum into expanding SWUST’s European “circle of friends” and enhancing the level of internationalized education.
YGL is committed to advancing Sino-foreign cooperation across diverse fields and forging a broader, more profound international collaboration network, one that bridges resources, accelerates mutual growth, and sustains long-term partnerships.
