From May 23rd to 25th, YGL accompanied the delegation from the University of the Aegean on its visit to Jilin Agricultural University. Li Qiyun, President of Jilin Agricultural University, met with the delegation led by Professor Dimitrios Papageorgiou, President of the University of the Aegean. Leaders from the Jilin Provincial Department of Education and Jilin Agricultural University also attended the meeting.

During the meeting, the two universities conducted in-depth exchanges on the establishment of Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions. Both sides expressed the hope of further integrating advantages in program offerings, faculty and student exchanges, scientific research and other fields in the future, continuously expanding the breadth and depth of cooperation, so as to inject strong impetus into promoting the internationalization of education in both universities and deepening educational exchanges and cooperation between China and Greece. During the visit, the delegation also visited the School of Resources and Environment, School of Food Science and Engineering, School of Information Technology and other units of the university, as well as relevant laboratories.

In addition, Jilin Agricultural University awarded the Certificate of Visiting Professor to Professor Efstratios Georgoulas, Vice President of the University of the Aegean. Professor Georgoulas delivered a special lecture for teachers and students at the School of Marxism.
